  MACC Christmas House Tour and Holiday Shopping Boutique
Description:
The Manchester Area Conference of Churches Cordially Invites you to a Benefit Christmas House Tour and Holiday Shopping Boutique. Saturday December 5th There are several tour schedules to choose from 9:30am until 12:00pm 10:00am until 12:30pm 10:30am until 1:00pm 1:30 until 4:00pm 2:00 until 4:30pm Limited tickets available. We recommend reserving early. Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of their historic home at 123 Boulder Rd in Manchester. The Rainville Family welcomes guests to tour their historic home decorated for Christmas from top to bottom. There will be dedicated areas in the house set up for guests to purchase delightful holiday gifts. MACC's gift shop, Inspirations, will be offering many items from their store including boxed Christmas cards and calendars. Local Craftsmen will be featuring beautiful handcrafted holiday items to accent your holiday decorations. Book lovers will be thrilled to see the fabulous collection of Best Sellers in hard and soft cover for $5.00 and under. Stunning Poinsettia Plants from Woodland Gardens will be distributed at the tour. All orders must be placed ahead and paid for. Tickets are available at Inspirations, 65 East Center St, located to the right of Cavey's and Rocco's. Store Hours are Tuesday thru Saturday 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Tickets also available by phone. Manchester Town Clerk, Joe Camposeo, has announced that the Genealogy Road Show will be returning to Manchester Town Hall, 41 Center St., on Saturday, December 5th, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This event is open to everyone, not just Manchester residents. Anyone with a desire to learn more about family genealogy research in general, not just Manchester records, can sign up for a complimentary thirty-minute consultation with a professional genealogist. All those interested must sign up in advance for a consultation session with one of the professional genealogists. There is no fee for this service. PLEASE CALL 860-647-3037 TO REGISTER. The genealogists participating have been practicing for many years and are very skilled at genealogy problem solving. This includes many facets of understanding New England, European and French Canadian ancestry information. The Downtown Manchester Holiday Celebration takes place on Saturday, December 5, 11 AM to 2 PM, Forest Street Parking Lot and throughout Downtown Manchester. Musical performances and FREE family-oriented activities throughout the Downtown including horsedrawn carriage rides, petting zoo and pony rides, ice sculpting demonstration, musical performances, costume characters. There will be a collection of new, unwrapped children’s toys for the Blue Angels Foundation Holiday Party. Description:
S.H.A.R.E. Holiday Trolley Shuttle will operate on Saturday, December 5, from 11 AM to 3 PM. The South Manchester History, Art, Recreation and Education Collaborative ( S.H.A.R.E. ) is sponsoring a free trolley that will shuttle visitors between the Downtown, Lutz Children’s Museum, Cheney Hall, Old Manchester Museum, the Cheney Homestead, and Manchester History Center where a variety of activities will be taking place. Look for trolley stop signs bearing the S.H.A.R.E. logo.

Plan now for The American Legion Post 102's 30th annual Children's Christmas Party on December 12th from 12:00 Noon until 3:00 P.M. at 20 American Legion Drive, Manchester CT 06040. (We are located just off Main Street across from the Hospital.) The Public is invited to this event and it is open to all Children ages 12 and under. Santa will be there with gifts, food and games for the children. A Donation of $7.00 each is recommended. Reservations Are Required and must be received before December 5th 2009.
