Description:
Fall Ball in person sign ups will take place Monday, August 16 at the British American Club from 6PM - 8PM. This will be the only in person sign up being held. Please print and fill out the registration form to bring in at the time of registration.This will expedite the sign up process. Cash or Check will be accepted.If you choose not to attend in person to sign up you can download the Fall Ball registration form, print and mail it in.The only payment being accepted via mail is a check which needs to be payable to Manchester Little League

Book Discussion for Adults Manchester Public Library Monday, August 16, 2010 7:00pm The Manchester Public Library Adult Book Group will be discussing "The Winter of Our Discontent" by John Steinbeck. Ethan Hawley is a dissatisfied clerk in a store his family used to own who schemes to get back on top no matter the financial or moral costs. The discussion will be held in the Howroyd Room at the Mary Cheney Library, 586 Main St., Manchester, CT 06040 Copies of the book are available in the Library's Reference Department. Description:
Chris Silver, Director of the Office of Neighborhood and Families. Appears on Manchester Review in August. Silver and Town Director, Matt Peak, discuss the origins of the Office of Neighborhood and Families and the upcoming fall classes offered through the Neighborhood Academy. Peak shares his perspective as a financial advisor on the importance of financial education for adults and youth. Fall programs such as the Government Academy and Police Academy are described. Watch Manchester Review in August to find out how to register for courses in financial literacy, leadership development, the Government Academy and the Citizens Police Academy. Perhaps it will lead you to involvement in Town politics. Manchester Review is a public affairs program hosted by Jack Peak. The show airs every Monday night in August at 9 PM on Cox Channel 15.
