Description:
Book Discussion for Adults at Manchester Public Library, Monday, January 23, 2017 at 7:00pm. Knowledge today is so complex that we as individuals fail to properly deliver that knowledge to others even with the many technological advances that exist. In "The Checklist Manifesto" writer and surgeon Atul Gawande offers a simple solution. He presents "what checklists can do, what they can't, and how they could bring about striking improvements in fields well beyond medicine" (book jacket). The discussion will be held in the Howroyd Room at the Mary Cheney Library, 586 Main St., Manchester, CT 06040. The FREE program is open to the public and registration is not required. Light refreshments will be served. For further information, please call Adult Services/Reference at 860-645-0821. http://library.townofmanchester.org
