Description:
The Mobile Food Share will be in the Manchester area on alternate Tuesdays, from 9:00am-9:30am. Come early, this is open to the public. Bring a sturdy grocery bag! This program is made possible by FoodShare and Winn Residential - Resident Service Program. For more information call 860-646-1280. Please note, starting March 7, 2017, Food Share will be located at Village Square, (1st parking lot off of Imperial Drive #78) 48 Spencer St., Manchester.

Description:
The Historical Society's Genealogy Group -- a meeting for both amateur and more experienced genealogists. Field Trip to Bloomfield LDS Family History Center, 1000 Mountain Road, Bloomfield CT. This center, and others, are operated by the LDS Church. They provide a wealth of genealogical resources. The tour is limited to 20 persons. Sign up via 860-647-9983 or email smmlyons@aol.com. There will be opportunity to carpool from the History Center parking lot, 175 Pine Street, Manchester, CT. Suitable for both amateur and more experienced genealogists. The Genealogy Group consists of Historical Society members, but non-members are also welcome, $3.00 fee. Please join us! The meeting will take place at the Manchester Police Department Community Room. Explore the flavors of Manchester, CT and support our local businesses. Taste of Manchester is a pub crawl style sampling of local food & restaurants. Patrons ride buses provided during the event to visit locations and try a bite of their fare. (MDOG), a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to educating about responsible dog ownership and advocating canine recreation. MDOG is responsible for building & maintaining Manchester Barks & Rec Dog Park.
