- National Public Health Week April 3-7, 2017 - The theme for National Public Health Week 2017 is to “Become part of a growing movement to create the healthiest nation in one generation.” Nationally, we are celebrating the power of prevention, advocating for healthy and fair policies, sharing strategies for successful partnerships and championing the role of a strong public health system.
The Manchester Health Department will have a table at town hall with information including Lead Paint Safety, Ticks and Lyme disease, Hepatitis C, Food Safety, Emergency Preparedness, Opioid Abuse Prevention, and Other General Public Health Topics.

- The Mobile Food Share will be at Squire Village, (1st parking lot off of Imperial Drive #78) 48 Spencer St., Manchester. Please arrive early to be in line for 9am as the truck leaves promptly at 9:30am. Open to the public; Bring a sturdy grocery bag! - Are you tired of buying produce that rots away in the fridge? Are you sick of eating take-out night after night because you don’t know what to cook? Join us in unraveling the frustration of meal planning on a budget! Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Alexa Gianinio will help us take a refreshing look at the ingredients that we have in our cupboards, spend our money where it counts in the grocery store, and plan wholesome meals for ourselves and the whole family.
