TOWN OF MANCHESTER NOTICE PUBLIC AUCTION In accordance with Section 47a – 42c of the Connecticut General Statutes, property obtained by the Town of Manchester through evictions shall be auctioned. The auction will be held at the Town’s storage facility at Greene Moving and Storage, 185 Adams St., Manchester on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 @ 10:00 a.m.

11:00am [11:00am] Senior Center Newcomer’s Meeting
The next Senior Center Newcomer’s meeting, open to those 60+ and Members will be held on Wednesday, April 19 at 11:00 a.m. in the library. New members will receive introductions to our programs and tour our facility. You must REGISTER with the front office by calling (860) 647-3211 ahead of time so we may properly prepare for your visit. If you would like to have lunch with us, please register for lunch on Monday, April 17 or Tuesday, April 18 by 12:00 noon. We look forward to your visit!

Green Manor Block Watches are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Senior Center on East Middle Turnpike. We welcome new members to join our current members to learn about their respective neighborhoods in town. 7:00pm [7:00pm] Manchester Art Association Meeting
Meeting of the Manchester Art Association will be held in the auditorium of the Arbors auditorium (extra parking is available at Manchester Manor next door). The guest artist will be artist Sandra Wakeen. She will lead a critique session. Each member may bring one piece for critiquing. Sandra is an active CT artist and teacher, from a family of three generations of artists. Her works are in the permanent collections of museums in CT and Fiesole, Italy. In 2012, the Greater Hartford Arts Council designated Sandra as “Connecticut Artist of the Year.” The program will include a members’ Art-of-the-Month competition and light refreshments.
