5:00pm [5:30pm] AUCTION
Gamma Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa, an International Honorary Sorority for Women Educators, will hold its annual auction on Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Church of Christ. NEW HOURS…Preview will start at 5:30 p.m., Silent Auction from 6:00-7:00 p.m. ONLY and Live Auction will start at 7:05 p.m.. A wonderful array of items will be auctioned including gift baskets, handcrafted items, gift certificates, and live plants. There will also be a silent auction of gently used “treasures” and a book sale. Refreshments will be served. All proceeds will be used for local, state and international altruistic purposes. In the past years, a few of the organizations to which monies have been donated were the Manchester Scholarship Foundation, the Henry Barnard Fund, Elizabeth Park, March, Inc., Camp Courant, Save the Children, NAMI of CT and CLCC Program for Autistic Adults. Admission is free and all are invited to attend this greatly anticipated event!

Manchester Community College Evening of Fine Wines On Friday, April 28, 2017, Manchester Community College will host the 25th annual Evening of Fine Wines. This gala event features guest emcees Faith Middleton of WNPR’s Faith Middleton Food Schmooze® along with senior contributor and chef/co-owner of Metro Bis Chris Prosperi. Guests will enjoy over 20 wine and beer tasting tables, live music by the Latanya Farrell band, amazing live and silent auction items, and scrumptious hors d’oeuvres and desserts prepared and served by MCC’s own award-winning culinary arts students. We are pleased to welcome back United Bank Foundation Connecticut as the presenting sponsor and thank SBM Charitable Foundation for their support. Proceeds from the event support student scholarships and academic programs at MCC.
