9:00am [9:00am] Pride in Manchester - Land Conservation Trust Tag Sale
Description:
The Manchester Land Conservation Trust seeks donations for its week-long June tag sale. Drop off donations of books, tools, antiques, glassware, artwork, toys, furniture, sports items, etc. at the cider barn, 330 Bush Hill Road on most Fridays and Saturdays leading up to the tag sale: May 5-6, 12-13, 19-20, and June 2-3 from 11 to 2 each day. Phone for other drop-off times: Terry at 860-643-1823. No computers, TVs, clothing, please. The actual tag sale will be held June 9-17 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. each day. The tag sale raises funds for the Land Trust. The farm trails are open maybe plan a two-to-three-mile hike while dropping off tag sale items. Description:
Coloring Program For Adults! Manchester, Ct April 17, 2017: The Manchester Public Library presents Dream In Color, on April 17 2017 from 12-2PM. Start your work week off on the right foot with the chance to relax during your lunch break. Dream In Color is a new program for adults focusing on tapping into your creative side and ridding yourself of stress by coloring. Fill Game Of Thrones, Outlander, or an enchanted forest with colors of your choice and let your imagination run free. No registration required. Free program. Coloring pencils, a variety of coloring books, and peaceful music will be provided. This event starts at 12PM and will last until 2PM. Participants are encouraged to bring their lunches with them to the event. Future dates for this program: May 15, 2017 June 12, 2017 The library is located at 586 Main Street, Manchester, CT. Description:
Lewis Segal, Manchester Author. Lewis Segal has been a practicing lawyer for most of his adult life, primarily as a corporate attorney. Currently he is a member of the firm of Outside GC [General Counsel] LLC Attorneys. Born and raised in New York City, Lew settled in Hartford after graduating from Yale Law School and now resides in Manchester. In his novel 'With All Due Respect' a lawyer grapples with the conflicting demands of his profession, his ideals, his family, and his conscience when he learns that one of his partners may be a Nazi sympathizer. This event is FREE, open to the public and will be held in the Howroyd Room, Manchester Public Library. Books will be available for sale and signing.
