Drop-In Play Fridays -
Description:
CRAWLERS AND WALKERS - This program is an open playgroup concept with the opportunity for children to play and interact with other children in a preschool setting. The crawlers and walkers group is for children ages 2 and under with the preschool classroom space being open for walkers and a carpeted room with manipulative toys available for crawlers and babies who are not yet mobile. There is a private changing and nursing room available for families to use. This program runs the first Friday of every month from 11:30am-1pm. Each Drop-in day requires separate registration. The classroom space is the first right in the rotary of Northwest Park in a warehouse-like building called Activity Building. RUNNERS AND JUMPERS: This program is an unstructured open playgroup concept with the opportunity for children to play and interact with other children in a preschool setting. The runners and jumpers group is for children ages 2-5 years old and is a free-play time to explore and engage in a fun and safe environment. This program runs the first Friday of every month from 2:30-4pm. Each Drop-in day requires separate registration. The classroom space is the first right in the rotary of Northwest Park in a warehouse-like building called Activity Building. The Senior Center Advisory Committee Meeting meets every first Friday of each month. February 3, 2017 March 3, 2017 April 7, 2017 May 5, 2017 June 2, 2017 July 7, 2017 August 4, 2017 September 1, 2017 October 6, 2017 November 3, 2017 December 1, 2017 All Senior Center Members are encouraged to attend to discuss issues of concern to members, bring forward suggestions to the administration and be visionaries for the future!

Description:
Educate. Learn. Inspire. Support. Motivate. Grow. Change. Empower. Join us for a series of activities, interactions, and discussions focused on examining issues of women's rights and health, as well as promoting awareness about gender inequalities. This group aims to develop the skis for women to feel more capable of acting in empowered ways in the different spheres of their lives. Topics to be covered: *Gender Empowerment and Human Rights *Identity and Relationships *Violence *Bodies and Sexuality *Sexual Reproductive Rights and Health *Motherhood and Care-giving *Preventing and Living with HIV/AIDS *Drugs * Women and Work *Community Participation Learning from each other to gain strength, incite change, be changed, and grow. Description:
MODERN RIFFS-swing, jazz, and classic rock! Sponsored by ImageWorks, LLC Concert starts at 7:00 p.m. at the Manchester Bicentennial Band Shell on the grounds of Manchester Community College.
