Description:
CAST children's theatre, (celebrating 30 years of Summer Productions) presents "Seussical" on Wednesday & Thursday August 2 & 3, 2017 at 1:00 PM and Friday & Saturday, August 4 & 5, 2017 at 7:00 PM. Tickets on Wednesday & Thursday are $10.00 each. On Friday and Saturday, tickets are $12.00 students, children & senior citizens and $15.00 for adults. All performances are held at Manchester High School's air conditioned Bailey Auditorium located at 134 East Middle Turnpike in Manchester. Description:
There is a mobile food share at New River Community Church, 314 Woodbridge Street, Manchester, every other Wednesday from 1:00 - 1:30pm. This program provides primarily fresh fruits and vegetables to individuals & families in need. For more information, call New River Church at 860-648-2970 or Foodshare at 860-286-9999. Description:
Community Service Project at Manchester Public Library. The Library is participating in the statewide themed program of Build a Better World for this year's summer reading events. In that spirit the library is sponsoring a community project creating no-sew heart pillows for donation to a local nursing home. The next workshop session will be Wednesday, August 2nd, 2-4pm at the Whiton Auditorium, 100 North Main Street. This is a drop-in session, no registration required. You need not commit to the whole 2 hours. Pillows take approximately 45 minutes to complete so feel free to stop by and just make one. ALL AGES are welcome to participate in this collaborative good deed/feel-good program. All supplies will be provided. Market Nights are coming to Manchester! The Spruce Street Market will run every Wednesday evening, June 21 October 4, 5:00 8:00 pm at 153 & 160 Spruce Street. Every market night will feature live music, open gallery hours, and the opportunity to support local farmers and artisans. Description:
SCREAMIN' EAGLES Sponsored by Pratt & Whitney Concert starts at 7:00 p.m. at the Manchester Bicentennial Band Shell on the grounds of Manchester Community College.
