  Collecting Tag Sale Items for Land Trust
Description:
For its September tag sale, the Manchester Land Conservation Trust seeks donations of books, tools, household items, furniture, toys, games, etc. Drop off donations at barn, 330 Bush Hill Rd., Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from August 7 to September 21 from 11:00 to 2:00 each day. No computers, TVs, clothing, please. The actual tag sale is September 22 to September 30, from 9:00am to 2:00pm each day. Come back and shop! The tag sale raises funds for the Land Trust and its open-space properties, including the 62-acre farm off Bush Hill Road in Manchester and Glastonbury. The farm trails are open maybe plan a two-to-three-mile hike while dropping off tag sale items. Land Trust info: www.manchesterlandtrust.org.

Description:
Veterans Counselor will be available in Town Hall lobby on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017, to meet and greet veterans from Manchester. The Veterans Counselor has knowledge and experience in helping veterans access their VA benefits as well as state or local programs and services. There is no charge for this service. Market Nights are coming to Manchester! The Spruce Street Market will run every Wednesday evening, June 21 October 4, 5:00 8:00 pm at 153 & 160 Spruce Street. Every market night will feature live music, open gallery hours, and the opportunity to support local farmers and artisans. Description:
IRISH NIGHT - Bill Eagan & the Rising Band, St. Patricks Pipe Band, Golden School of Irish Dance Sponsored by Highland Park Market, Lynch Toyota Scion. Corned Beef Sandwiches, snacks & drinks available for purchase from Highland Park Market Concert starts at 7:00 p.m. at the Manchester Bicentennial Band Shell on the grounds of Manchester Community College. Admission is free, but donations are welcome, as are volunteers. OUTSIDE Weather Permitting; Rain Date is Thursday August 10th.
