Description:
Veterans Counselor Meet and Greet A Veterans Counselor will be available in Town Hall lobby from 9:00am-12:00pm on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, to meet and greet veterans from Manchester. The Veterans Counselor has knowledge and experience in helping veterans access their VA benefits as well as state or local programs and services. There is no charge for this service. The Manchester Town Hall is located at 41 Center St., Manchester.

Description:
There is a mobile food share at New River Community Church, 314 Woodbridge Street, Manchester, every other Wednesday from 1:00 - 1:30pm. This program provides primarily fresh fruits and vegetables to individuals & families in need. For more information, call New River Church at 860-648-2970 or Foodshare at 860-286-9999. Description:
Manchester Cub Scout Pack 47 is looking for new scouts to join our pack. If you are a boy in grade K through 5th, interested in hiking, camping, science, or a variety games, Come Join Our Pack! If you are a parent or guardian interested in teaching your boy good traditional values, life skills, and the value of working as a team to both achieve goals and just have fun, Come Join Our Pack! We will have our recruit night Wednesday, September 13th, 2017 at 6:30 pm at South United Methodist Church, 1226 Main Street Manchester, CT please join us to learn more. We have two pack outdoor camping trips a year and one if not two pack excursions, this years remains to be determined but prior years have been an overnight on a battleship and a day trip by bus to the USS intrepid Aircraft carrier in New York. We also will have the boys selling popcorn, building and racing Pinewood Derby cars, earning adventure belt loops, performing community service activities. We emphasize the boys working together and building relationships. Come see the magic that has kept Manchester Pack 47 going strong since 1954!
