Description:
On behalf of the Manchester Senior Center, we would like to invite you to our Meet the Candidates Program. This event will take place in the Senior Center Auditorium located at 549 Middle Turnpike East on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. The Senior Center is hosting this special opportunity for candidates representing Manchester running for Board of Directors office to reach their constituents as well as for Manchesterís seniors to become better-informed voters with regard to this yearís candidates and issues. We respectfully request that all candidates consider this their opportunity to visit the Manchester Senior Center during election season. The format will be comprised of a two-minute introduction from each candidate followed by a question and answer session from our seniors. We will have a moderator to emcee the program and facilitate the question and answer portion of the program. We invite you to join us for refreshments at the end of the program.

Description:
The series resumes in Manchester Community Collegeís From New York City, the Kinetoscope String Quartet, featuring Jason Mellow and Adrianne Munden-Dixon, violins; Arman Alpyspaev, viola; and Sara Bennett Wolfe, cello; with special guest, Melanie Chirignan, flute, will perform at 8:00 p.m. The evening will open with a reading at 6:30 p.m. by poet Heather Treseler. All Mishi-maya-gat events are free and open to the public. The Series acknowledges the generous support of the Town of Manchesterís Downtown Arts and Culture Grant Program, as well as the continued support of the MCC Foundation. Description:
The Compassionate Friends will meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Compassionate Friends is a national nonprofit, self-help support organization that offers friendship and understanding to bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings. There is no religious affiliation and there are no membership dues or fees. We extend a special warm welcome to you. We know that it takes courage to come to your first meeting, and invite you to bring a friend or relative. Doors will open at 6:30 pm to welcome new members.
