Wednesday, Nov. 22 – Mary Cheney and Whiton Libraries open from 9 am to 5 pm (close early this day) Thursday, Nov. 23 – Mary Cheney and Whiton Libraries closed for Thanksgiving Friday , Nov. 24 – Mary Cheney and Whiton Libraries open from 9 am to 5 pm Saturday, Nov. 25 – Mary Cheney open from 9 am to 5 pm Sunday, Nov. 26 – Mary Cheney open from 1 – 5 pm

Description:
Calling all Thanksgiving Day Manchester Road Race Runners and Fans! Again this year, the doors of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 41 Park St., Manchester will be open from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day to offer a warm gathering place and beverages (coffee, tea, cocoa, bottled water), restroom facilities for all runners and their friends and families. Just walk up one block on the right, on Park Street from the starting line on Main Street.

Description:
Manchester Road Race The 81st running of the Manchester Road Race takes place Thanksgiving Day, November 23 at 10:00 a.m. Information and online registration is available now at www.manchesterroadrace.com Road Race Advisories: All unattended property is subject to seizure/destruction and all bags/backpacks are subject to search. There will be no parking allowed on East Center St. from Lenox to Center during the overnight period of Wed. Nov. 22 through 1pm on Thurs. Nov. 23; vehicles will be towed if necessary. Main St. will be closed to traffic between Bissell St. and Maple St. from 5:00am until 7:00am to allow the construction crews to erect the fencing and ropes along the roadway. At 6:00am Main St. will be closed from Center St. to Charter Oak St. until the conclusion of the race. At 8:45am I-384 Exit ramps at East and West bound Exit 3 will be closed. At 9:00 am the entire race route will be closed to vehicular traffic. After the tail car of the race passes, roads will be opened up behind it. However, Main St. will continue to stay closed from Center St. to Charter Oak St until race clean up is completed around 1:00pm. BUS SHUTTLES will be running and schedule is available online www.manchesterroadrace.com
