Cathy holds master degrees in special education and early childhood education, certifications in educational leadership and autism spectrum disorder. St. James School Pre-K – 8th Grade Open House & New Student Registration St. James School in Manchester, a fully-accredited Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, invites families of school-age children to attend an informational Open House at the school on April 26th at 6:30pm. Registration for the event is available online at www.saintjamesschool.net/openhouse or by e-mailing aguenther@saintjamesschool.net. At St. James School, teachers utilize a traditional, accelerated, and innovative curriculum designed to challenge students to think, create, question, and discover. Standardized test scores from 2017 show each grade tested (3rd – 7th) performing well ahead of grade level in all subjects. Lessons in morals, values, and faith are incorporated into students’ daily lives to help prepare them to live successfully in today’s world. In addition, the school offers many sports programs and extracurricular activities as well as an extended-day program (open to full-day-Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade students) with before- and after-school hours. STEM learning and current technology are appropriately incorporated into the school’s exceptional curriculum.
