Manchester Peace Coalition and Manchester Troops Rally Groups cite their differences on Manchester Review, hosted by Jack Peak, which airs every Monday night at 9 PM on COX PATV channel 15.
If you have driven by the center of Manchester on a Saturday morning in the past six years, you could not miss the demonstrators with signs for Peace Now on one corner and signs Support Our Troops on the opposite corner. A segment on June's Manchester Review called War and Peace explores the six year long Saturday am peace and troops rally vigils. June Pinkin, representative for the Manchester Peace Coalition, and Rodi Planck, Troops Rally spokesperson, talk about their differences of opinion on the US wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and their motivation for the demonstrations. Both groups claim to be patriots and support our troops, but differ dramatically in their views on the conflicts. Tune in for a lesson in civics and free speech in action.
