Keeping your Heart Healthy Program

Description: Keeping your Heart Healthy” - Every year the first Friday of February has been dedicated to National Wear Red Day as an awareness day to heart health and heart disease. On Friday, February 3, 2017, Kelly Skarzynski, a Hartford HealthCare-Heart Failure Clinic Resource Nurse will discuss heart health with a focus on heart failure. Following her presentation, Laura Dunfield and Barbara Titus, Recreation Department exercise instructors will talk about their personal experiences with heart disease and lessons learned. This program is scheduled from 10:00 to 11:30 at the Manchester Senior Center. October Kitchen will serve a free heart healthy lunch at 11:30 following the program.
