Author to come to Mary Cheney Library

Description: Jim O'Loughlin, Author. Monday, March 20, 2017 at 7:00. O'Loughlin is a Manchester native, MHS alumnus (Class of 1984) and currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Languages & Literature at the University of Northern Iowa. He will read from his new collection of flash fiction, Dean Dean Dean Dean. The book has been described on Amazon as adding "a touch of the absurd to the proud tradition of American humor writing [merging] the tradition with the twenty-first-century literary genre of flash fiction, combining some experimental pieces with more traditionally told narratives for a collection that is as thought-provoking as it is entertaining." This event is FREE, open to the public and will be held in the Whiton Branch Auditorium, 100 North Main St., Manchester, CT 06042. Books will be available for sale and signing.
