Hundredth Anniversary of U.S. Entrance into WWI

Description: Manchester Historical Society presents “Perspectives on WWI, United States Enters the War,” a lecture by retired Manchester Community College history professor Mary Ann Handley, at the History Center. Mary Ann has conducted research on this topic, and at the lecture will establish a foundation for understanding the conflicts and issues of this period in American and local history.

Admission: $5.00 for non-members, $3.00 for Society members, and free for children under age 16. Light refreshments served.

Audience members are invited to visit the Old Manchester Museum at 126 Cedar Street after the lecture to view the WWI exhibit there. More about local history at www.manchesterhistory.org
