Join the discussion of Linda Greenlaw's novel "Slipknot" in the Howroyd Room at the Mary Cheney Library, 586 Main St., Manchester, CT 06040. Greenlaw, America's only female swordfish boat captain, has written several nonfiction books about life as a commercial fisherman. Slipknot is the first book in a mystery series featuring marine investigator Jane Bunker. It has been described on Amazon as a book with "a great setting, wonderful characters, an authentic and original detective, and a story that will keep [readers]
on the edge of their seats." Copies are available in the Library's Reference Department and at the Whiton Branch. The FREE program is open to the public and registration is not required.
