The Final Imagine Main Street of the Season - Steam Rollin'!

Description: The biggest and definitely most unique Imagine Main Street is scheduled for Thursday, September 7, starting in historic Downtown Manchester. We end our 2017 street festival season with a fabulous focus on Steam Punk art, music, fashion, and fun!

A fashion show by Sisters of the Moon will be held, an author's showcase with Kate Dunlop, Beth Bernobich, Jennifer Eifrig and Howard Lipman, and a British Tea is in the works by The Tea Round*. Vendors, artists and exhibitors include Allyssa Norton Illustration, Tahir Soaps, Heart Arts, C by C, Lindas Bag of Yarn, Normand Charlette Photography, Gems and Jewels (Julie Misuraca), Amy's Bookmarks, Oliver Poons books, The Creator's Image (Gale Talmadge), Mijumi Art (Michael Michaud), JW Crafts (Jamie Wilkens), Linda Shaughnessy Crafts, Justin Hunt Art, Be Brave Art Studio, The Creators Image, Quark Tees, Honey Bunch Face Painting, Dark Rain Design (Erin and Ray Sopko), Swamp Yankee Comb, Cornerstone, Mrs. Pettigrew, Dr. Steampunk, Vintage Radio and Communication, Stitch and Stuff, Steampunk Gallery, ARTinary. Tina's Steampunk Creation, Henna by Heather, Lavender Molly, Anita Balkun, Stone Sisters, Running Dog Pottery, Paisley Peacock, All Sketched Out, Jewelry City Steampunk Festival, Wit and Wisdom Poetry, The Roseland Cottage, and Aranchne Attire.

Look for and enjoy the Silk City Chorus, Anne Cubberly's Mother Earth, hooping by Cait the Great, Mike OJ Magician, Fiddlesticks, Jessica Mercy, Bill McNally of Libertas Rifle Drill and Sword in the Scroll fencing. The Boy Scouts, Axis 901, UUS:E and many others will have tables with art and activities that you'll enjoy!

Bring a chair to the Forest Street parking lot and you can enjoy the fun and watch a special movie (after dark) which is a favorite among Steam Punk followers!

Food vendors will include AJ's Hot Dogs and Jeff's Kettlecorn.

Forest Street parking lot activities will go on till 10:00 p.m., other action on the street and inside MCC on Main concludes at 8:00 p.m.

*Reservations are necessary for the British tea, by calling 860-787-5286.

Specific information on street maps will be available the week before the event at MCC on Main, Key Bank, Pinewood Furniture, Dougan Art, Katherine's Hair Design, Frame Dimensions, Sean's Fine Jewelry, 41 Closets, Harvest Beads, Mary Cheney Library, Town Hall and other downtown locations.

Imagine Main Street is organized by an all-volunteer committee and welcomes new ideas and members.
