When her husband dies, Annie and her Yorkshire Women's Institute members come together to raise money for a new settee in the local hospital waiting room by posing for a calendar…completely in the nude. Positioned behind flowers, cakes, and knitting projects, the women discover what it means to be confident in their own skin and the shining beauty within themselves and each other. Manchester Community College Foundation is hosting its annual Hall of Fame to honor individuals or businesses in the Manchester area who have made a significant impact at MCC and within the community through philanthropy and community service. A Valentine’s brunch will be held at 11:30 a.m. on February 12, 2017 at A Villa Louisa in Bolton, CT. The public is invited to join us as we celebrate Fuss & O’Neill, Inc., with special recognition of Peter H. Grose, President and CEO, as Investor of the Year, and Lucy Anne Hurston ’93 as Volunteer of the Year. Cost is $20 per person and includes brunch and mimosas.
