The Mobile Food Share will be at Squire Village, (1st parking lot off of Imperial Drive #78) 48 Spencer St., Manchester. Please arrive early to be in line for 9am as the truck leaves promptly at 9:30am. Open to the public; Bring a sturdy grocery bag! [9:30am] Manchester Senior Center Open House and Tree Dedication
The Manchester Senior Center is hosting a Ceremonial Tree Dedication, celebrating 50 years of Senior Services followed by an Open House for anyone that is currently not a member. The Tree Dedication begins outside the Senior Center with a continental breakfast at 9:30 a.m. At 10:30 a.m. anyone who wishes to attend the open house can enter the Senior Center Library. A presentation is provided regarding the Senior Center programs and activities. Lunch is then provided at 12:00 p.m. and a tour is given following lunch. 3:00pm [3:00pm] Manchester Volunteer Opportunities Fair
Manchester Volunteer Opportunities Fair Set For October 3rd at Manchester High School The Manchester Community Services Council, along with the Town of Manchester and The Board of Education invite you to come to the Third Annual Volunteer Opportunities Fair on Tuesday, October 3rd from 3-6pm at the Manchester High School Cafeteria located at 134 East Middle Turnpike. The Manchester Volunteer Fair is designed to connect residents and students to volunteer opportunities in the community. If you are someone that wants to connect with your community, a student looking to complete your volunteer service hours or a recent retiree looking to get involved, this is the perfect opportunity for you to come and be active in the local organizations in Manchester. The fair is free and open to the public. We are seeking organizations who would like to participate. To date, we have the Manchester Road Race, Rebuilding Together, Interval House, The Manchester Land Trust, Manchester 8th District Fire Department and many more organizations eager to attend. Here is your chance to learn about how to get involved with organizations in the area!
