Saturday, December 2, 2017 – 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 3, 2017 – 1:30 p.m. at Cheney Hall, 177 Hartford Rd. Manchester, Connecticut A variety of jazz from international and regional performers will be featured at the annual BSBI Jazz Festival. Some notable artists are: Alex Nakhimovsky, Robin Lyn Treger, Avery Sharpe, Walter Zev Mamlock and Greg Abate. Tickets and more information is available at http://bit.ly/BSBIJazz or at the door. Center Congregational Church is presenting a return engagement by Jason Castonguay with “Jason in Concert: Home for the Holidays.” Jason Castonguay is set to dazzle you on pipe organ, piano and vocals. He will draw selections and pieces to especially warm your hearts and conjure up visions of the spirit of the Christmas season. Castonuay, 37, has been blind since birth. He has earned his way into the national spotlight. The musician grew up in Bristol, and now resides in Manchester. He won a local Connecticut Idol competition, which advanced him to an audition of “American Idol” in Las Vegas. Additionally, in 2005, he won a spot performing with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra Tickets: $12.00/adults; $10.00/Seniors; $8.00/students; and free for children under age of 5.
