1:00pm [1:00pm] 34th Annual Santa's Workshop
A free event sponsored by Wickham Park. Children of all ages enjoy visits with Santa and his elves and refreshments with Mrs. Claus. Santa's Workshop provides a chance for children to enjoy an uncommercialized Christmas experience. Guests are welcome to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to area food pantries. Runs from December 13th through 23rd. Hours are 3-6pm weekdays and 1-5pm on weekends. Come and create a new family tradition.

[2:00pm] Cheney Cinema Saturday
The Manchester Public Library will show a suspenseful World War II movie during Cheney Cinema Saturday on December 23rd, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Due to license restrictions (since admission is free) we cannot release the name of the movie being shown, however it is rated PG-13, and run time is 1 hour and 47 minutes. Allied soldiers, cut off and surrounded by the Nazi army during World War II, must evacuate France in order to survive. Canít guess the name of the movie? Call the library for more information! [3:00pm] Friends of Music Concert
The concert will take place SATURDAY, DECEMBER 23, at 3 PM. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 60 Church Street, Manchester, CT. Chorus Angelicus and Gaudeamus The Friends of Music at Emanuel will present Chorus Angelicus and Gaudeamus at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 60 Church Street, Manchester. The two choirs will perform their highly-praised Christmas program with narrator John McDonough. Old and new arrangements of carols and seasonal songs, along with traditional carols to delight the audience, will be masterfully sung by the pure, young voices of Chorus Angelicus and the mature voices of the adult chamber choir, Gaudeamus. A festive reception in Luther Hall will follow the concert. Concert is free. Donations gratefully accepted.
