  LTM Presents HARVEY
Hop on in to Cheney Hall in February to see the comedy HARVEY. The Little Theatre of Manchester opens its 2018 season with this time-honored classic. Elwood P. Dowd is a perfect gentleman. Has only one character flaw: an unwavering friendship with a six-foot-tall, invisible rabbit named Harvey. HARVEY is a hilarious whirlwind of confusion and chaos as everyone tries to catch a man and his invisible rabbit. Harvey will be presented at Cheney Hall in Manchester February 2 -18th. [10:30am] Take Your Child to the Library Day
Take Your Child to the Library Day Activities on Saturday, February 3rd, 2018 at Mary Cheney Library. The Books & Beasts program will take place at 10:30am, where a variety of books will be highlighted along with real animals from the stories. Curious George will then be in the Children’s Room from 2-3pm for a photo opportunity. Call 860-645-0577 for more info.

[11:00am] 2nd Annual Imagine Inside Market
The second annual Imagine Inside Market will take place on Saturday, February 3 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Work_Space. Last year's market of 38 artists, vendors, crafters, makers, and musicians welcomed more than 500 visitors and patrons to the downtown location, previously known as MCC on Main. The Tea Round, a British tea experience, will be on site, as well as vendors from throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts, including; Simpson Designs, How Charming, Gems and Jewels, Soaps for Days, Heart Art Crafts, Milford Rocks, Ouellette Photography, Wholly Goat Farm, Tahir All Natural, Posh LizBeth, Yarncrafters and Naturally in the Woods. Music will fill the air throughout the day by Marmo, Time Was and Baby Blue. Imagine Main Street (IMS) produces this event as a mid-winter opportunity for the talented artisans in our community to have time to sell their wonderful product to the community. IMS will begin its regular season of monthly festivals on May 3. Seasonal calendars will be available at the Inside Market as well as various locations throughout Manchester. The Smitten Kitchen Cookbook, The Smitten Kitchen, Everyday Smittenkitchen.com Deb Perelman Do you find yourself wandering around the cookbook section upstairs or in the new book area? Do you like tasting new things and enjoy discussing them with others? Then we have just the program for you. Come to one of our “Recipe Readers ” event. This club will meet monthly on Saturday afternoons from 1 to 3. Each month a theme, author or cookbook will be chosen. Participants are asked to pick one recipe from the book(s) and come to the program with dish in hand on the date posted ready to discuss their experience. Dishes should arrive fully prepared and ready to share.
