  LTM Presents HARVEY
Hop on in to Cheney Hall in February to see the comedy HARVEY. The Little Theatre of Manchester opens its 2018 season with this time-honored classic. Elwood P. Dowd is a perfect gentleman. Has only one character flaw: an unwavering friendship with a six-foot-tall, invisible rabbit named Harvey. HARVEY is a hilarious whirlwind of confusion and chaos as everyone tries to catch a man and his invisible rabbit. Harvey will be presented at Cheney Hall in Manchester February 2 -18th. 1:00pm [1:00pm] Historical Society hosts:Living Without Electricity
The Manchester Historical Society hosts "Living without Electricity" on Sunday, February 4 at 1:00 p.m. Bettylou Sandy will present this thought-provoking program at the History Center, 175 Pine Street. Bettylou says, "Historically, most people in Manchester have lived a lifetime without electricity. Today the power goes out and we panic. In this talk, demonstrations, and discussion, we will relive 200 years of history to learn to save electricity and live a simpler lifestyle, while saving money!" The public is welcome to bring ideas and stories of their own to share. A $5 donation is appreciated, with refreshments available. Parking available along Pleasant Street, Forest Street (on the grass along the side of the building, and at the eastern edge of the building along Elm Street.
