5:00pm [5:00pm] Manchester Art Association Reception
The public is invited to join the Manchester Art Association at a reception for their “All Members/All Mediums Exhibit”. On display are works of art from 25 artists in different media including pastel, watercolor, acrylic, photography, pen and ink, contemporary pewter, stained glass, gift cards, blackwork, mixed media, oil, and mosaics. Enjoy the art, refreshments and music while meeting the local artists. The exhibit will be on display from March 8 until June 7. For more information on the Association visit: ManchesterArt.org

[6:30pm] Crime Report Meeting
Crime Report Meeting The next Community Crime Report Meeting will be Thursday April 5 at 6:30pm in the Police Department Community Room, 239 E. Middle Tpke. The meetings are meant to provide the public with accurate information regarding significant incidents and crime trends, and general information about police processes.

7:00pm [7:00pm] Manchester Boy Scout Troop 27 Open House/Join Night
Join Boy Scouts. BSA Troop 27 is holding an Open House/Join Night on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at 7 pm at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 41 Park Street, Manchester, Connecticut. Boys ages 11 through 14 are invited to drop in with their parents and see what Scouting can offer them. Boy Scouts is a program for boys in 6th – 12th Grade which provides opportunities for leadership, teamwork, character building and development of outdoor skills under the proper guidance of volunteers who have many years of knowledge and experience in scouting. Troop 27 provides an environment filled with excitement, challenge and adventure. Camping preparations will be displayed and discussed as we answer questions regarding the scouting program.
