Nancy Cooke Brunell is an award-winning artist who has worked extensively with chalk pastels, and recently has been exploring the many uses of oil pastels. Although many people may not feel comfortable with this medium, she thinks that the key to enjoying oil pastels is learning to correctly use them. Nancy loves teaching art and her students range from age 3 to 101. The program will include a members’ Art-of-the-Month competition and light refreshments. The meeting is free and open to the public.
