Free Community Tag Sale The Manchester Church of Christ is hosting a Free Community Tag Sale on May 26th. All items are available for free to those who are in need. The event runs from 8AM until Noon and everyone is welcome. 595 Tolland Tpke.

[9:00am] Children's Butterfly Garden Planting
SAVE the date, Saturday May 26! Please join us at the Children's Butterfly Garden in Northwest Park, for a morning of planting and mulching this magical garden space. Children from 1 to 101 are welcome to join us in this fun and educational event. Our Butterfly Lady, Miss Barbara will be there after the planting to share with us her stories about how she saves the butterflies, as well as explaining the Life Cycle of the Butterfly. All children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring tools and gloves if you have them and we will have some to share as well. Northwest Park is located on Tolland Tpke., just past Bob's Discount Furniture. The garden is located behind the ball field near the pavilion. We look forward to seeing you in the garden.

[11:00am] Community Block Party
Join us for our FREE annual community block party! With games, bounce houses, an ice cream truck, bubble soccer, face painting, and free food, there is something for everyone! Also, new this year, there will be a giant rock wall! Itís all happening on Saturday, May 26th at Faith Tabernacle.

[2:00pm] National Poppy Day
National Poppy Day Honor the fallen. Support the living. Visit the Manchester Stop & Shop on Sat. May 26, 2018 from 2-6pm to make a donation and receive your Red Poppy. The red poppy is a nationally recognized symbol of sacrifice worn by Americans since World War I to honor those who served and died for our country in all wars. It reminds Americans of the sacrifices made by our veterans while protecting our freedoms. Wear a poppy to honor those who have worn our nation's uniform. All donations received will be used by The VFW for their programs that support veterans, the military community and their families.
