Description:
Free family history hike at Center Springs Park, starting at parking lot at 39 Lodge Drive. Come explore this 55-acre urban park in the geographical center of town. A fairly easy, but hilly, walk on the one-mile loop trail around the park, with an optional, additional half-mile, walk to the Cheney railroad to see the pedestrian bridge and view the Bigelow Brook Greenway. Led by Susan Barlow, Manchester Land Conservation Trust. Extreme weather cancels. No dogs, please. Description:
Live music in Center Memorial Park. Band to be announced soon. Some food vendors -- Jeff's Kettlecorn -- will be available. Patrons can come early, with blankets and chairs to get the best seating. Rain date is Sunday, June 3. Come to this wonderful, free outdoor concert! Bring a blanket and picnic, and of course your friends. The night will be hopping with music. Local food vendors are invited to contact the concert chairperson Kevin Zingler, to sign up to sell food at the event: kevinzingler@gmail.com Pride blankets will be sold that night as well, $20.00, cash or check during intermission.
