5:00pm [5:30pm] Imagine Main Street
Imagine Main Street celebrates it's 7th anniversary with music, art, food, and fun. More at Imagine Main. Come 'Strollin' On Main. A bit of history -- Thursdays used to be the night when you’d stroll down the street, meet your neighbors, have a bite to eat, and do some shopping. Imagine Main Street brings it to life on seven blocks of the historic Downtown on Thursday, June 7th from 5:30 to 8 p.m. From Frame Dimensions to Dougan Framing, we're providing a picture perfect night of arts, culture, music, makers, activities, engagement and fun. If the weather is inclement, we'll be inside the Army Navy Club and/or other downtown locations to keep the spirit of the event alive. Watch the Imagine Facebook page and website for up to the minute details. Anne Cubberly's puppets will be on hand, Kona Ice and Jeff's Kettle Corn will be available. Musicians of all kind will be found on each block, and a wide variety of vendors and craftspersons. The Wit and Wisdom Poetry Club will liven the night with words. Our favorite horse-drawn wagonette will offer free rides up and down the street. Work_Space will have activities, Silk City Coffee will host a poetry night, and a pub crawl will end the evening at various downtown establishments.
