  MHS Class of 1968 Reunion
Manchester High School Class of 1968 will celebrate 50 years on Saturday evening, June 16, 2018. The reunion with sit down dinner will take place at the Manchester Country Club. Mark your calender! Saturday,June 16th. Books, toys, games, housewares, linens and more all at low prices! One of the easiest ways to support MACC is to shop at our thrift shop. All money goes directly into MACC programming. Regular hours are 10:00am - 2:00pm, Monday- Saturday with extended hours on Thursday until 5:00pm.

[1:00pm] Cheney Historic District Tour Walk
The Manchester Historical Society will lead a walking tour in the Cheney historic district. The 75-minute walk starts at the History Center, 199 Forest St., the loom room entrance, with views of the exterior of historic mansions, commentary on the historic landscape and buildings, and a visit to the nine acres purchased by the Town in 2005 for open space and historic preservation. Some steep and uneven ground, so wear sturdy shoes. Park near the Forest St. entrance to the History Center or in the lot on Pine St. north of the building. Extreme weather cancels, but the walk will be held in light rain. $7:00 for non-members, $5.00 for members, and free for children under age 16 accompanied by an adult. 2:00pm [2:00pm] Cheney Cinema Saturday
The Manchester Public Library on 586 Main Street will show a movie about two siblings who travel to a different dimension during Cheney Cinema Saturday on June 16th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Due to license restrictions (since admission is free) we cannot release the name of the movie being shown, however it is rated PG, and run time is 1 hour and 49 minutes. Joined by three magical beings, the children search for their father, a scientist who has traveled through space and time and is now missing, while also attempting to stop a terrible evil. Can’t guess the name of the movie? Call the library for more information! Light refreshments will be served. No registration required for this free event.
