Tremendous Tuesday Family Program
Turtle Dance Music– June 26th, 2018, 3:30pm at Whiton Branch Library & 6:30pm at Mary Cheney Library. The Music, Bubble and Comedy Show: Born to Read is a high energy performance about why libraries rock! The show engages children of all ages with songs, comedy, bubbles, music technology and is also crafted for children on the Autism Spectrum. Spoons, Bones, Bodhran, & Pennywhistles musical program with Tom Callinan on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 6:30pm. Tom performs songs from the Irish, early American, and maritime traditions, along with original compositions reminiscent of those genres. A multi-instrumentalist, he is self-accompanied on a variety of string, wind, and percussion instruments, including the bodhran (traditional Celtic frame drum), spoons, and rhythm bones. This is a voluntary participatory program. Bring a pair of metal spoons if you want to join in! The program takes place at the Whiton Auditorium, 100 North Main Street, Manchester, CT 06042. Presented by "Libraries Rock!" the Manchester Public Library's Adult Summer Reading Program, this FREE event is open to the public and registration is not required.
