[6:00pm] Beller's Music Summer Concert Series
Free Concert- Horizon Blue Stay cool under the trees at Center Memorial Park, near Mary Cheney Library Thursday, July 19 from 6-8 pm, as the Beller's Music Summer Concert Series continues. This week's concert features Horizon Blue, an acoustic folk, country and bluegrass musical group. Their family-friendly performances feature a wide range of folk instruments comprising mandolin, dulcimer, banjo, dobro, flute, guitar, bass, and more. Paired with vocalist Monique Hill’s graceful vocals, you’ll find yourself on a smooth foray through a pleasant story-telling experience. The Compassionate Friends will meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Compassionate Friends is a national nonprofit, self-help support organization that offers friendship and understanding to bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings. There is no religious affiliation and there are no membership dues or fees. We extend a special warm welcome to you. We know that it takes courage to come to your first meeting, and invite you to bring a friend or relative. Doors will open at 6:30 pm to welcome new members. This group meets the 3rd Thursday of each month. It is open to families and friends of people with mental illness and focuses on sharing experiences and information. It is facilitated by volunteer NAMI of Manchester members who have been trained in support group facilitation. All family members are welcome.
