  Summer fun at the pools!
Summer fun at the pools! Noodle Nights - Join us at the pool for noodle and float night. Bring a float or grab a noodle and relax at the pool. Pools will have a limited supply of noodles available for use. July 11 - Waddell, July 18 - Globe Hollow. Facility pass required to enter the pool. Sunday FunDay - Sunday, July 22 at Globe Hollow. Join us for a day of fun-filled aquatic activities, races and ice cream. Facility pass required to enter the pool. Deck Art Days - On select Saturdays during the summer, bring your sidewalk chalk to the pool and showcase your artistic abilities. Prizes awarded for the most creative chalk drawing. Salters Pool - July 7, Waddell Pool - July 14, Swanson Pool - July 21, Marcy MacDonald Pool - July 28. Facility pass required to enter the pool.

Knights of Columbus Council 1155, will be collecting refundable cans & bottles on Saturday, July 28th. All proceeds to be used to fund charitable activities in our parish and in our community. [9:00am] Crossroads Community Cathedral Health and Wellness Fair
The event includes free screenings. Local health, wellness vendors and community resources. Free massages, eye exams, CT Chip program-ID program, Clothes Closet, face painting, puppet show, zoomba dancing, music, and free food. Health teaching sessions on prostate, heart, stress reduction, women’s hair loss, Naturopathic medicine, nutrition, mental health, safety, Stop the Bleed training and more. There will be a panel discussion on Behavioral Health Issues such as mental illness-early detection, substance abuse, suicide, PTSD, gun violence in the community and more. [1:00pm] Free Rail Trail Hike
Free Rail Trail Hike Saturday, July 28, at 1:00 p.m., starting at Fuss and O’Neill, 146 Hartford Rd., exploring the route of the former railroad, along the South End streets at first, then up an embankment and on to Center Springs Park and the footbridge over Bigelow Brook. About two hours round trip. Participants will hear about the history of the railroad. Co-sponsored by the Connecticut Forest & Park Association and the Manchester Land Trust. No dogs, please.
