[8:30am] Motorcycle Ride to Benefit Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.
On Sept 8th, Sponsored by the Manchester Lodge B.P.O.E. #1893 who will be hosting a Motorcycle Ride to Benefit Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Registration starts at 8:30 am, 10 AM ride will be leaving the Manchester Lodge B.P.O.E. #1893, 30 Bissell Street, and be returning around 11 AM, where all can enjoy food and refreshments. The ride is $20 per bike plus $10 for each rider. If you don’t ride, but would still like to join us for food, we ask for a $10 donation. T-shirts will be available for $15 and there will be a 50/50 prize pool. Come join us for a great time and help support Connecticut Children’s Medical Center...Its for the Kids! Rain Date: Sunday, September 9.

All types of paper including staples, envelopes and paper clips are accepted. Two large boxes or heavy duty trash bags per vehicle are allowed! Recipe Readers September 8, 2018 @ 1 pm at Mary Cheney Library, Howroyd Program Room Eating Well in Season by Jessie Price; Cooking from the Farmer’s Market by Williams and Sonoma; America Farm to Table by Mario Batali Do you find yourself wandering around the cookbook section upstairs or in the new book area? Do you like tasting new things and enjoy discussing them with others? Then we have just the program for you. Come to one of our “Recipe Readers ” event. This club will meet monthly on Saturday afternoons from 1 to 3. Each month a theme, author or cookbook will be chosen. Participants are asked to pick one recipe from the book(s) and come to the program with dish in hand on the date posted ready to discuss their experience.
