  Early Fall Storytime Session
Description:
The session begins the week of September 10th with storytimes for infants, one-year olds, two-year olds and three-to-five year olds. Age-specific storytimes are offered multiple times a week, as well as drop-in storytimes for all ages some evenings and on Saturday mornings. This session will run September 10th- October 27th. Registration begins September 4th for Manchester residents and September 6th for non-residents. The Manchester Public Library on 586 Main Street will have its September meeting of their Mysteries On Main book club on Monday September 10, 2018 at 7 p.m. This month’s selection is The Hunt for Red October by Tom Clancy. Description:
Manchester Garden Club The Manchester Garden Club is excited to present our speaker Alina Ciscel, as the Club resumes their monthly meeting September 10. She will discuss combinations of perennials and shrubs for year round interest in the garden. Touching on combinations of color, texture, fragrance and use of spent blossoms to create art in the garden. Ms Ciscel is an associate professor and ESL Coordinator at Manchester Community College and is owner of West End Blooms. The Manchester Garden Club meetings are held on most second Mondays of the month (September through June) at the Center Congregational Church, 11 Center Street. The doors open at 6:45 P.M. and meetings start at 7:00 P.M. Guests are welcome to attend and a $5.00 donation is suggested for non-members. The public is welcome, light refreshments are provided.
