Description:
Manchester Land Trust Tag Sale. Friday Sept. 21st-Saturday Sept. 29th. Time: 9am-2pm 330 Bush Hill Rd. A giant tag sale will benefit the Manchester Land Conservation Trust and its work to preserve open space lands. Shop Friday, September 21 through Saturday, September 29 from 9:00 to 2:00 each day at 330 Bush Hill Road, Manchester, in the old cider barn on our farm property, with 5,000 square feet of books, games, dishes, tools, artwork, curiosities, furniture, machinery, household and sports items, near-antiques, glassware, and items both useful and decorative. [11:30am] UNITED WAY ICE CREAM SOCIAL
Description:
Our 2018 United Way fundraiser kicks off on Friday, September 21! We’ll celebrate the start of our campaign with an Ice Cream Social on Friday, September 21st in the Town Hall Lobby from 11:30am to 2:00pm. For just a $1 donation, enjoy a delicious sundae in support of a great cause! Can’t make it to the first Ice Cream Social? No problem! Another one is coming up the following week, September 28th, at Public Works. The public is welcome to join in the ice cream socials, so let your friends and family know! During the campaign, we’ll also have Munson’s chocolates for sale and prize drawings to enter. All of this fun is in the name of raising our goal amount of $14,000 for the United Way, which supports our neighbors, friends, families, and colleagues who need a helping hand in Manchester and 39 surrounding towns. Please consider making a donation during this year’s campaign – every little bit helps!

Description:
The Army & Navy Club (A&N) will be celebrating its Centennial celebration next year 2019. In preparation for this historical event we will have several events prior to the start. The first to be held on Friday, September 21, at their Veteran’s Hall, is Comedy Night featuring Mike Hanley plus 2 additional outstanding comedians. The doors for this over 18+ age show opens to the PUBLIC at 7:00PM with the show starting at 8:00PM. Tickets are $ 20.00 each available at the bar or by calling the club at 860-646-9133.
