- Join us at MOPs (Mothers of Preschoolers) and MOMSnext! All mothers from those with children at home are welcome. Join us for time to chat and learn with other moms, a hot breakfast with coffee and safe and fun childcare for your little ones. Motherhood is hard, but you don't have to do it alone. Find community at MOPs! Meetings are held at Trinity Covenant Church (302 Hackmatack St) from 9-11:30 on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. Our first meeting of the year is September 11th. - The Historical Society's Genealogy Group -- a meeting for both amateur and more experienced genealogists, as we explore topics in genealogy, helping each other with research and in overcoming roadblocks.
The Genealogy Group consists of Historical Society members, but non-members are also welcome, $3.00 fee. The group usually meets on the second Tuesday of the month at the History Center except July, August & December. The film chronicles the story of Kevin Hines, who at age 19 attempted to take his life by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge. Since then Kevin has been on a mission to use his story to help others stay alive and find recovery.
