Description:
MDOG Barktoberfest October 20th from 10am-2pm at Charter Oak Park. The event will include activities for dogs and their owners including a Doggie Kissing Booth, Dunking for Dogs, a Costume Parade and Dog Costume Contest! We also have over 25 booths with vendors for both dogs and humans! Description:
The Cheney Brothers National Historic District Commission invites the Manchester community to attend a ceremony dedicating the Great Lawn to the memory of Vivian F. Ferguson on October 20, 2018 at 1:00 PM. Mrs. Ferguson was a tireless advocate of preserving and promoting Manchester’s rich history, having served as a founding member of the Manchester Historical Society, Chairman of the Cheney Commission, member of the Town of Manchester Board of Directors, and as Town Historian for many years. The public is welcome to this event to honor her memory on the Great Lawn property. The Manchester Public Library on 586 Main Street will show a movie about jewelry heist attempted by an all-women team during Cheney Cinema Saturday on October 20th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Due to license restrictions (since admission is free) we cannot release the name of the movie being shown, however it is rated PG-13, and run time is 2 hours. Eight women band together to attempt the theft of a $150 million dollar necklace at the Met Gala – will they be successful? Can’t guess the name of the movie? Call the library for more information!
