[10:00am] MDOG Barktoberfest
MDOG Barktoberfest October 20th from 10am-2pm at Charter Oak Park. The event will include activities for dogs and their owners including a Doggie Kissing Booth, Dunking for Dogs, a Costume Parade and Dog Costume Contest! We also have over 25 booths with vendors for both dogs and humans! The Cheney Brothers National Historic District Commission invites the Manchester community to attend a ceremony dedicating the Great Lawn to the memory of Vivian F. Ferguson on October 20, 2018 at 1:00 PM. Mrs. Ferguson was a tireless advocate of preserving and promoting Manchester’s rich history, having served as a founding member of the Manchester Historical Society, Chairman of the Cheney Commission, member of the Town of Manchester Board of Directors, and as Town Historian for many years. The public is welcome to this event to honor her memory on the Great Lawn property. Those planning on attending are asked to RSVP to Judith Schuberth at 860-647-3044 or JudithS@manchesterct.gov.
