Jay Howroyd Fitness Trail Dedication Postponed to 11/3
Description:
Jay Howroyd Fitness Trail Dedication Postponed to Saturday, November 3rd at 10:00 a.m. The dedication ceremony for the Jay Howroyd Fitness Trail scheduled for Saturday, October 27th at 9 a.m. has been postponed to Saturday, November 3rd, due to projected inclement weather. The new Jay Howroyd Fitness Trail is located at Union Pond Park on North School Street. Parking is at the North School Street lot at Robertson Park (directly across from Union Pond Park) The One Mile Family Fun Costume run scheduled in conjunction with the October 27th dedication will be cancelled and not rescheduled.

The Manchester Historical Society hosts a Halloween Festival has been cancelled due to the weather forecasted for Saturday, October 27 at Woodbridge Farmstead.

Halloween Happenings Postponed to Nov. 3rd
Description:
Due to forecasted heavy rain and winds the outdoor activities taking place as a part of Halloween Happenings, A Safe Downtown Manchester Trick-or-Treat will be postponed to Saturday, Nov. 3. The following indoor activity WILL TAKE PLACE as scheduled on Oct. 27 : 10:30-11:30 inside at the Mary Cheney Library - Danny Magic - A Fun Comedy Magic Show. The following outdoor activities have been POSTPONED to Saturday, Nov. 3: 10am-11:30pm - Chalk the Walk at Center Memorial Park 11:30am-1pm - Pumpkin Decorating for Children at the Manchester Antiques Mall, 811 Main St. 11:30am-1pm - Safe Children's Downtown Trick-or-Treat at Downtown businesses displaying a "Welcome Trick-or-Treaters sign. 1:15pm - Downtown Trick-or-Treat Group Photo in Center Memorial Park by John Garaventa. The dates for the 2018 HHW collection schedule are listed below. The annual collection date postcard (printed on yellow cardstock paper and sent via U.S. Mail first class every spring), is scheduled to be mailed out every year in March. Description:
The Silk City Board Game Group, hosted by the Manchester Public Library, will meet on Saturday October 27, 2018 from 12-4:30PM. We will be joined by special guest, Smirk & Dagger Games, a board game publisher from Sandy Hook, CT. They will have a variety of games from their line, including Tower of Madness; Koi; Nut So Fast; Before There Were Stars; as well as some game prototypes. We are pleased to partner with The Time Machine to offer this program. No registration required. Free program! Free light refreshments to be served.
