Music and Lyrics by Cole Porter Passions run high as leading lady Lilli Vanessi and her ex-husband, actor/director Fred Graham, battle onstage and off in a production of Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew. 9:00am [9:00am] Senior Center Advisory Committee Meeting
The Senior Center Advisory Committee Meeting meets every first Friday of each month. All Senior Center Members are encouraged to attend to discuss issues of concern to members, bring forward suggestions to the administration and be visionaries for the future!

1:00pm [1:00pm] A Matter Of Balance
Many older adults experience concerns about falling and restrict their activity. A Matter Of Balance is an award-winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. Trinity Health of New England/Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center is offering 'A Matter of Balance'- 8 session workshop that will help participants learn ways to reduce falls and fears of falling, exercises to help with balance and emphasize practical strategies for managing falls. The program will run twice a week on Tuesdays & Fridays starting Friday, November 2, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 at the Manchester Senior Center. The last session will be a double session on Fri, November 30. A workbook is provided and a healthy light snack will be served. You must register by calling the Manchester Health Department at (860) 647-3173 as space is limited.

Enjoy a delicious Pasta Dinner – dine in or take out! Bring family and friends. Friday, November 2nd, reservation times 5 through 7 PM, with the last seatings at 7. Meal includes: Salad, bread, pasta, homemade meatballs and sauce, dessert, and beverage. Vegan and gluten-free available for pre-purchased orders. Tickets: Adults: $12 pre-purchased, $14 at the door. Children: 4-12yrs. $7. Children under 4: Free. You can also help those in need by bringing non-perishable food, personal care items, household items, small toys and school supplies which will go to local families and Haiti.
