- Description:
- There is a mobile food share at New River Community Church, 314 Woodbridge Street, Manchester, every other Wednesday from 1:00 - 1:30pm. This program provides primarily fresh fruits and vegetables to individuals & families in need.

[6:00pm] Free Diabetes and Pre-Diabetes Classes
- Description:
- Five, free Pre-Diabetes and Diabetes Classes are being offered by the Manchester Health Department. Classes are taught by a Certified Diabetes Educator/Dietician at the community Y located at 78 North Main Street from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., beginning Wednesday. November 7, 2018. There is no class the week of Thanksgiving.
These classes will provide the latest information on diabetes and pre-diabetes, and blood glucose testing. A free glucometer and strips will be provided to pre-diabetics. The last class is a guided tour at Shop Rite. This program is for Manchester Residents and registration is required. Space is limited. Please call the Manchester Health Department at (860) 647-3173 to register.

All residents living from Main Street east to Autumn Street and East Center Street South to Charter Oak Street are invited! Regular meetings are held the 1st Wednesday each month at East Side Neighborhood Resource Center.
