A Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan is a tool that helps a community understand risks and take specific steps to reduce property damage, injury, and loss of life. This plan discusses the occurrence and consequences of floods, winter storms, tornadoes, hurricanes and tropical storms, wildfires, earthquakes, and dam failure. An informational meeting is being offered for the public to learn about the plan, ask questions, and provide input: Written comments may be submitted by November 21, 2018 to: CRCOG, 241 Main St., Hartford, CT 06106, or via e-mail: lpikedisanto@crcog.org For more information: Visit CRCOG’s website – http://crcog.org/2016/05/natural-hazards-mitigation-planning/ NOTE TO PERSONS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS: We do not discriminate on the basis of disability.
