Music and Lyrics by Cole Porter Passions run high as leading lady Lilli Vanessi and her ex-husband, actor/director Fred Graham, battle onstage and off in a production of Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew. With romance, comedy, sophistication, and behind-the-scenes high jinks, KISS ME, KATE combines the irreverent humor of two brilliant writers: Cole Porter and William Shakespeare. The Manchester Public Library will show a musical movie featuring songs by ABBA during Cheney Cinema Saturday on November 17th, 2018. Due to license restrictions (since admission is free) we cannot release the name of the movie being shown, however it is rated PG-13, and run time is 1 hour and 54 minutes. A young pregnant woman preparing to reopen her deceased mother’s hotel in Greece enlists the help of her mother’s friends for support, learning more about her mother along the way.
