  34th Annual Santa’s Workshop
Description:
A free event sponsored by Wickham Park. December 12 - December 23 Children of all ages enjoy visits with Santa and his elves and refreshments with Mrs. Claus. Santa’s Workshop provides a chance for children to enjoy a non-commercialized Christmas experience. Guests are welcome to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to area food pantries. Hours are 3-6pm weekdays and 1-5pm on weekends. Come and create a new family tradition. http://wickhampark.org

Description:
You may have heard that processed foods can harm your health, but do you know why? On Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 11:00 to 12:00, Erika Dworkin, Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition and Certified Lifestyle Educator will present “Exchanging Processed Foods for Whole Foods To Promote Healthy Aging” at the Manchester Senior Center. Come and learn examples of ultra-processed foods to avoid, why you should avoid them, and some easy ways to introduce more whole foods into your daily meals and snacks to promote your healthy aging. A healthy snack (with recipe) will be served! Please call the Manchester Health Department to register at (860) 647-3173.

Description:
Help and encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member, or friend. GriefShare is a special weekly seminar and support group designed to help you rebuild your life after losing a loved one. Our group is made up of caring individuals who have experienced grief and want to help you through the difficult days ahead. This group meets on Thursdays from 6:30 - 8:30 pm, at the Manchester Church of Christ starting on September 13th and going through December 13th.
