  Board of Directors Regular Meeting Cancelled
NOTICE REGULAR MEETING CANCELLATION Tuesday, January 8, 2019 The first meeting of the month of January 2019 of the Board of Directors has been cancelled. Next regular meeting will be on January 15, 2019 at 7:00pm in the Hearing Room at the Lincoln Center.

Join us at MOPs (Mothers of Preschoolers) Join us at MOPs (Mothers of Preschoolers) and MOMSnext! All mothers from those with children at home are welcome. Join us for time to chat and learn with other moms, a hot breakfast with coffee and safe and fun childcare for your little ones. Motherhood is hard, but you don't have to do it alone. Find community at MOPs! Meetings are held at Trinity Covenant Church (302 Hackmatack St) from 9-11:30 on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.

The mobile Food Share will be in the Manchester area on alternate Tuesdays, from 9:00-9:30am. Come early, this is open to the public. Bring a sturdy grocery bag! [10:00am] Genealogy Group
The Historical Society's Genealogy Group welcomes Jennifer Zinck, a professional genealogist who specializes in incorporating DNA evidence into genealogy. Jennifer is an instructor in the Boston University Genealogical Research Certificate Program. Learn about the different types of DNA tests and how they can help you connect branches of your family tree. The public is invited! Our genealogy meetings are for both amateur and more experienced genealogists, as we explore topics in genealogy, helping each other with research and in overcoming roadblocks. The Genealogy Group consists of Historical Society members, but non-members are also welcome, $3.00 fee. The group usually meets on the second Tuesday of the month at the History Center except July, August & December. Give the gift of time to your loved ones this holiday season. Put aside all outside distractions and enjoy the moments together. Before you know it another year will be behind us! Please plan to join us for our next MWC meeting at Manchester High School, Room 199. Our guest this month will be Beth Stafford, Executive Director of MACC, to talk to us about the needs of our less fortunate neighbors and how we as a club can support them. The VFW Post 2046 will meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month except July and August. The meetings are held at the Army & Navy Club.

[7:00pm] New Year’s Book Resolution Kick-off Party
The Manchester Public Library invites you to kick back, get cozy, and sip some hot cocoa at our New Year’s Book Resolution Kick-off Party on Tuesday January 8th, 2019. Bring your slippers or cozy socks, sit in a comfortable chair, sip some hot cocoa under one of our SAD light boxes, and read a great book. There will be a variety of activities going on, from puzzles to games, to coloring and drinking tea. We will help you get started on your 2019 Reading Challenge and get in the wintry mood. Copies of our Winter Reading Challenge will be available at the event. No registration required for this free event.
