Description:
Pediatric & Adult First Aid & CPR for Child care Providers. The class is ideal for daycare providers, new parents, teachers, babysitters, and coaches. Payment can be made the morning of the class. We accept cash or check. The class is generally taught the second Saturday of every month at 8:30a.m. at the Fire Station:second floor, 75 Center St. All interested students should e-mail: DawnS.CPR@gmail.com. Description:
The Knights of Columbus Council 1155 of Manchester will hold its annual Free Throw Contest for boys & girls Ages 9-14 at St. James School gym in Manchester. Registration is at 11:00 AM and contest is between 11:30 AM and 2 PM. The event is open to boys and girls ages 9 through 14. Registration forms can be found on our website. Entrants must be accompanied by an adult.

Description:
Do you find yourself browsing through the cookbook section of your favorite library or bookstore? Do you like tasting new things and enjoy discussing them with others? Then we have just the program for you. Come to one of our 'Recipe Readers' events. This club will meet monthly on Saturday afternoons. Each month a theme, author or cookbook will be chosen. Participants are asked to pick one recipe from the book(s) and come to the program with dish in hand on the date posted ready to discuss their experience. Dishes should arrive fully prepared and ready to share. This month’s theme is Super Bowl books and the choices are: The Hungry Fan's Game Day Cookbook, by Daina Falk, and Fan Fare, by Debbie Moose. Description:
Travel Familiar Roads With The Silk City Chorus The Silk City Chorus returns to the stage on January 12, 2019 with another original show titled “Familiar Roads”. Join us “On The Road” as we travel coast to coast, performing favorite songs. The show will feature three well known guest quartets. The 2018 world champion quartet AFTER HOURS. Top ten quartet CATEGORY FOUR will also appear. Finally VINTAGE MIX will travel from Wisconsin. They are 17 year old quadruplets, and recent silver medalist mixed quartet in the world. There will be two performances of the entire show on January 12, 2019 at 1:30 and 7:30 PM at Manchester High School, 134 Middle Turnpike East, Manchester, CT 06040. The best seating for both shows is in the reserved sections, sold in advance of the show: RESERVED Primary (front 4 rows) $30.00; RESERVED Secondary $25.00; General Seating $22.00; Senior/Student General Seating $20.00 Afterglow at Labyrinth Brewing Co, Manchester, CT $19.00 Seating prices are $3.00 higher at the door on the day of the show.
