Description:
Ken Ludwig's THE GAME'S AFOOT It is December 1936 and Broadway star William Gillette, admired the world over for his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes, has invited his fellow cast members to his Connecticut castle for a weekend of revelry. But when one of the guests is stabbed to death, the festivities in this isolated house of tricks and mirrors quickly turn dangerous. The danger and hilarity are non-stop in this glittering whodunit. The Manchester Public Library invites you to celebrate Chinese New Year with Phoenix Performing Arts on Saturday February 16th. Phoenix Performing Arts, located in Hartford, Connecticut, is a dancing, martial arts, and music troupe. The members are committed to deliver a premier quality of dancing, music and martial arts to serve area communities. Phoenix Performing Arts has a broad spectrum of Chinese classic and modern dancing styles including, but not limited to Classical dance, Minority dance (Tibetan, Mongolian, Dai, Miao, Korean, and Yi dance, etc.), Folk dance (Fan, Handkerchief , Ribbon, and Umbrella dance, etc.). They also present Chinese traditional musical instruments and Martial Arts as well.
