African Drumming & Dancing Family Program– Saturday, February 16th, 2019, 10:30am at Mary Cheney Library. Jocelyn Pleasant & the Lost Tribe will provide an exciting, family-oriented program of African drumming and dancing. The Manchester Public Library invites you to celebrate Chinese New Year with Phoenix Performing Arts on Saturday February 16th. Phoenix Performing Arts, located in Hartford, Connecticut, is a dancing, martial arts, and music troupe. The members are committed to deliver a premier quality of dancing, music and martial arts to serve area communities. Phoenix Performing Arts has a broad spectrum of Chinese classic and modern dancing styles including, but not limited to Classical dance, Minority dance (Tibetan, Mongolian, Dai, Miao, Korean, and Yi dance, etc.), Folk dance (Fan, Handkerchief , Ribbon, and Umbrella dance, etc.). They also present Chinese traditional musical instruments and Martial Arts as well. Phoenix Performing Arts strive to provide a whole season of dance, music and martial arts you love, and let communities be entertained and educated with diverse and gorgeous activities.
